They call it Kimberley Rose, otherwise Sticky Kurrajong. [Brachychiton viscidulus] It was living in all its twisted glory, bare of leaves but displaying splashes of flame and somehow admiring itself in the wild. It had a beauty that could not be ignored, even if it wasn’t in full flower.
